Driftwood Xylophone

For me, the reuse of materials is more interesting than recycling. To find a new use for an object as-is demands creativity. And if you can jam on the product of that creative inspiration that’s even better.

Musicians Bart Hopkin and Joyce Kouffman used driftwood found at Drake’s Beach in Northern California to make a xylophone. This video demonstrates how they did it.

If you really want a large xylophone and have $950 you can buy one here.
