Not sure today how many college students use a woodshop, but in 1901 this one was available to Oklahoma State University students.

I'm guessing this guy is setting up a new jig or tool as he is not interested in taking time out to pose for the photo. Understandable.

Although deemed cocky by their shop mates, everybody knew these guys could knock out a mortise faster than anybody.
The building housing this shop was removed for the construction of Gundersen Hall in 1910.
Photo available as a large print from the OSU Foundation.
